God wants to be in relationship with us,
wants us to accept God’s Love for us,
wants us to respond to that Love in love.
Does the way we live our lives lead others to God?
May we be able to experience
the extent of God’s forgiveness of us
because we are willing to forgive each other and ourselves.
“When shall I go and behold the face of God?”
Today’s Gospel reading confirms that Jesus, like us,
felt emotions and responded in a human way.
God is always near, while we can choose to remain distant.
Faith can keep us on the right path.
We are called to repent, or to change our perspective, and
move beyond the mindset that we usually have.
As we progress through the days of Lent,
let us struggle to replace evil with good works.
A call for renewal.
“The measure with which you measure will in return be measured out to you."
